Claim SOL Faucets as Your Gas

As same as Solana mainnet, the devnet also requires users to pay SOL gas to make transactions.

To get the initial SOL faucets as gas, firstly you need to know the SOL deposit address on your wallet. Just click the 'Solana' token icon in your wallet and then click 'Deposit' button.

Your wallet address will be shown at the buttom. You can click the 'Copy' button to get your address.

When you’ve got the address, you can request some Devnet SOL faucets from here:

Just enter your Solana wallet address and click 'DEVNET' button. Then the site will send you the SOL faucet automatically. 1 SOL would be enough for your gas consumption.
